It is a costume for me to read the two main newspapers from Salta. Namely, El Tribuno and Nuevo Diario de Salta (alias El Diario Chiquito). Often, I read two different perspectives for the same news. For those that do not know, El Tribuno is owned by the brother of the current governor and therefore the comments and redaction of news are done to talk favorably of everything which is of interest for the governor, of course. On the other hand, el diario chiquito is totally opposite to El Tribuno, and even more, has some inclination to give left-wing opinions, which in many situation are far to be realistic.
Therefore, more than get informed, I have to average the news, and imagine what the real story is about. I often check some webpages of some radios, but all of them tend to be in agreement with the current government actions, mainly due to the juicy official advertisement they get paid for. A complete pity: there seems to be no independent media in Salta. Eeeh hee... (typical Dutch sigh)

pagina/12 clarin nacion/infobae
